BitZipper 4.1 SR-1

http://www.bitzipper.com

One of BitZipper's dominant strengths is its built-in support for ACE, ARC, ARJ, BH, CAB, GZ, JAR, LHA, LZH, RAR, TAR, TGZ, UUE, WAR, XXE, Z, ZIP and ZOO files; no third-party products are needed. You can access almost every compressed file with just this one tool. No need for additional software applications; no wasted expense.

Another one of BitZipper's strengths is that it comes with four user interfaces, to provide solutions for new and power users: A very friendly Wizard interface for new users, a Windows Explorer-style interface for experts, a batch (bulk) processing interface for power downloaders and an interface accessible directly from Windows Explorer's right-click menu.

If you are frequently compressing the same set of files, BitZipper's reusable Backup Sets can help. Within seconds, you can quickly and easily define those files and folders to a Backup Set. Once defined, simply activate the backup process with the click of a button. Your backed up files can be accessed by BitZipper or any other tool capable of reading standard ZIP files.

While WinZip and other ZIP tools only split existing ZIP files, BitZipper also offers an option to create a multi-volume archive when creating a new ZIP file or adding files to an existing ZIP file. Splitting is also available when using the Backup feature of BitZipper, allowing you to make each volume fit perfectly on ZIP disks or CD-ROMs.

With BitZipper, working with compressed files is as easy as working with your web browser or word processor. BitZipper's handy features include opening multiple archives, searching for files in archives and exporting the archive content list to Word, Excel, text or HTML format. You won't find all of these features in the average ZIP tool.

BitZipper 4.1 supports strong 128- and 256-bit AES encryption which is a U.S. government (NSA) approved encryption standard. BitZipper is WinZip, WinRAR and WinACE compatible and is available in English, French, German and Danish.
